    Setting trailer on jack stands???

    I want to take both wheels off and carry them to have my new tires put on (single axle trailer). Where is it ok to put the jackstands for it sit on while I am gone? Under axle, frame of trailer, under leaf spring bracket?? Not much experience in this area :confused:

    Problem with an 89 Evinrude 48SPL

    It was running fine then all of a sudden sounded like it wanted to stall out but did not. It then sounded like it was bogging down and no matter how much throttle I gave it it would only run very slow even when opened up all the way. Any ideas? I just bought a brand new complete gas line hookup...

    I have had numerous ideas on here about how to remove the saltwater stains from the outside of the boat including many saying toiletbowl cleaner. Is this really ok to use and does it matter the brand or would any work?

    Help with model number.

    There are 2 for my engine which is a 1989 Evinrude 48 SPL with manual tilt/trim. The two choices according to the Evinrude website are E48ESLCER and VE48ESLCER. Any ideas, as I don't know much.:confused:

    How do you get the salt water stain off of the hull?

    You can see the water line/stain on the side of the boat and it looks aweful how do I get it off (what to use)? Also is it ok to use car wax on the hull?
