1975 Johnson 15hp running HOT. Am I missing something?

I recently purchased this very clean motor that had sat for >10 years. It started without much effort, but there was no water coming from the blubber hole and the head became very hot to the touch quickly. So... -I replaced the water pump even though everything looked great. -I pulled the water...

Swapping long shaft with short shaft

I just purchased a Zodiac inflatable and the seller included a 1975 15hp Johnson long shaft. I also own a 1974 9.9 Evinrude short shaft. My core plug finally fell out of my 1966 evinrude fastwin. It went from pumping a decent stream with a little water dribbling out from the lower pan, to having no stream and water gushing from under the head. Can anyone tell me how to replace this plug? do you just hammer it in and call it good...

Dripping water from under power head

Just picked up a 1966 Evinrude Fastwin and can see some water dripping under the power head while it's running. It's not a lot, just enough to make a little puddle in the pan. I have 90 psi in each cylinder and other than that, it runs like a top. I'm wondering, is this my head gasket, or is...
