    Low/ No Oil alarm on 2004 75hp e-tec

    Has anybody had problems with oil alarms especially in colder weather? I was using the evinrude hd-50 oil and had constant alarms in colder weather, after the engine warmed the alarm would stop. I went to my local mech. and he said to try the hd-100 mixed with the hd-50 but sill had problems...

    Black oil in lower unit

    I have a e-Tec 75 hp and changed the lower unit oil and it was black any thing to be concerned about? Evinrude says to change every 3years or 300 hours i dont have that many hours but it is the 3rd year. Anybody with input.

    changing lower unit oil

    just changed the oil in the lower unit of E-Tec 75 oil was very black any problems i should be aware of - is it necessary to change oil every year?
