    2001 90 2-stroke Need How-to remove flywheel

    Hi all, I am looking for the Mercury tool number? I don't know if I should use flat 3-bolt type plate puller or combination flywheel puller thread w/ lift eye puller. Thanks! Motor is new to me. Has a spark issue and melted regulator wires. Ordered a DVA and CDI brand regulator...

    Carb Leather Gasket - STOP the LEAK? -

    This is a 3 1/2 Evinrude Lighting.<br /><br />The bottom set screw always wants to leak. I thought I had it fixed when I got hold of he original leather gaskets. This didn't help.<br /><br />Any ideas or am I missing some crucial part.

    Merc 450? Model & Year?

    On the cover this appears to be a 450.<br /><br />Serial is 1511569 Problem is that the motor is black not cream like a 1962.<br /><br />Delco elec start w/o alternator. Manual and electric choke actuation.<br /><br />Really have no idea what this originally was and hopefully still is.<br...
