    I am interested in the max rpms of different motors. 4 cyls seem to be propped about 4800 6 cyls seem to be propped about 4600 8 cyls seem to be propped about 4400 I don't know why? I don't even have a guess:/ Do you?:love:

    Hello :) I have a 280 drive There are not vary many props avail. Stock, general 3 blade boring props is all. Is there an adapter/hub that will increase the num and style of props I can use? Thanks

    Hairline/stress cracks?

    Have you owned it since new? Can you attribute the cracks to a specific time, did you have rough water? Some would say cracks are normal, I don't. Depending on the history of the boat where the cracks are, could be sign of weakened stringers, rotted floor, other load bearing parts. More...

    When I was younger, large boats were called<br />yachts. I haven't heard this term in a while.<br />What are yachts? What size constitutes<br />being called yacht? Can you go yachting<br />in a dingy?

    Whoa!

    I was just cruising along and this 17' ish<br />Bayliner came blowing by me.<br />I hit the gas and darned if it didn't take<br />80+mph to catch her.......<br />She was running smooth not a trace of spray.<br />Think my speedo is off?
