    Johnson GT 150 Lower unit linkage

    i just put a new inpeller in my motor put everything back together and the only trouble that i am having is the shifting in forward and reverse, i am sure that when me and dad took the lower unit off we did not move the shifting rod i have tried adjusting the cable but it still shifts like crap.

    :confused:i have a johnson GT 150 that the overheat alarm went off on, i run it for about 10 minutes at idol and the alarm would sound, there was water coming out the tale tale port but it was not a hard stream, could it be a simple impeller or thermostat, Please Help before i start tearing into...
