    which is better for bottom resolution... an older hummingbird 400tx or a newer hummingbird 525 ? the 525 sells for around $129.. i'm thinking the 400tx was around $249. any opinions are appreciated.

    evinrude to merc cables

    switching from a 91, 60hp evinrude to a 85, 115 merc... question is.. how do you get the plastic ends off the cables? looks like maybe there's a metal pin that the cable loops around so that if you push the metal pin out then you can pull the cable out of the plastic rod. is this right? just...

    proping my toon

    i have a tracker 24ft pontoon with a 60hp evinrude.. getting ready to put a 1985 115hp merc on it... the 115 has a 22pitch stainless prop.. and the motor has had some porting work done and am told its pushing more like 150hp.. im pretty sure the 22pitch would be over pitched for the pontoon but...
