    Ok. guys, I got the motor raised and now the cavitation plate is about 1/2 inch from the bottom, water quit coming over the back, shots out of the hole good, but now it porposies real bad in calm water :mad: ... talk to the guy that did it,and he said that raising should work but he was afraid...

    water coming over back of boat

    I have a 17'3 bayliner trophy center console. if i barely trim my motor water comes over the back of the boat into the spill area and if I trim it up to make that stop then the boat starts porpasine(the front bobs up and down) It seems that their is no happy medium,the holes in the spillway wont...
