    '86 50 Yamaha (50ELJ) Runs hot

    Around 300* on the each head. I haven't changed the pump because of the strong solid stream on muffs. Yes it's been sitting for 3 years. Compression is ~100 on each cylinder. Doesn't water circulate through the heads prior to coming out?

    I have a chance to buy a LU, the seller gives measurements of "38 1/2 inches from the tip of the spline to the prop shaft". (he is parting it out...) Will this be a good fit for my 25" XR4? It's about 10* F now and I ain't gonna drop mine to check. :cold: Thanks

    '89 XR4 Jumps momentarily out of reverse

    In searching it seems I'm getting two different answers, one says when in reverse the prop will not turn in either direction, and another says the prop locks when turned clockwise. Mine will turn counterclockwise only with finger pressure. Does this indicate a major problem?

    '89 150 Carbed XR4 Uneven Head Temps
