    Is there some kind of steering assist for old boats??

    I have a 79 Marquis with the 3.0 Ltr 140 hp in it. Now this boat never came with power steering, and at low speeds is an arm full for the wife its tuff...Is there some kind of steering assist they make for these old boats or could i adapt power steering into it from another boat possible?

    The Boat was going good until i stoped to pick up my tuber?

    :Hey guys i have a 79 Maquis with a 140 mercruiser in it. Its all original as far as i know.I Just dewinterized it and got out on the water.We were bombin around all day pullin my tube,then the last stop i let off the throttle came to a stop to pick up my tuber then the boat would just rev up...
