    installing new trim motor with new harness

    well found out today My trim motor on my 50hp mariner is shot ..thinking about ordering new one ,But heres my question ..My pump motor has 3 wires ""black,blue,green "" & the new one im thinking of ordering has 2 wires & a new wiring harness Heres a pic of the new one Tilt Trim Motor Mercury...

    1989 50hp Mariner Trim will not go up or down

    after pulling My Boat outa the barn for the first time this spring I noticed that the trim will not go up or down . All i can hear is the relays clicking ..Not sure what Or where to start with this ??

    1989 Mariner 50hp 3 cyl ...running rough at low speeds

    I Have a 50 hp Mariner 3cyl ,seems to be smoking & running rough at low ""Trolling "" speed tach bounces from 7-800--1000 rpms ....It Had that autoblend system on it ::JUNK:: ..Untill I pulled it out & put it in the trash can ..Now Iam mixing my Gas/oil in my tank at 50:1....Also runs real good...

    89 Mariner 50hp, 3 cylinder NO SPARK on 1 cylinder

    I Have a 89 mariner 50hp 3 cylinder & Iam not getting any spark out of the middle cylinder, I switched coils & Iam still not getting spark. But the other 2 cylinders are getting great spark :confused::confused:

    89 Mariner 50hp firing on 2/3 cylinders

    I just bought a 1989 Mariner 50hp & The motor when its cold will only fire on 2of 3 cylinders. last nite I was out and it took about 10min and, then the third plug kicked in. Then i shut the motor off for a while and when I started it again the third cylinder wasnt firing AGAIN . so i motored...
