    Vintage evinrude won't fire

    :confused:Recently a friend of mine gave me a 1957 evinrude 7.5 .He said that he got it a while back and it fired right up,first pull. He didn't like the tank setup because it was "dangerous".I get it home and can get no spark . tried timing light,grounded spark plug test and even my finger...
