    horse power difference

    fast idle

    I just noticed my 200 omc seadrive engine idles @1200-1400 rpms,even with the throttle plates closed on carb.Any ideas?Thanks<br /> RLP

    fogging

    To,Markcv4 thanks for the info.Iwas just struck by the fact manual says fog engine when I flush the motor after use,which I do every time I go fishing.I fish a river with brackish water.It just seems like a lot of fogging.

    fogging oil

    I just happened to be looking @ my owners manual,which says to fog engine everytime I flush .I have a 50 yamaha on an alum bassboat.rig is a 2000 mod.That,s seems a bit much.My question is, is there a universal oil for this,or do you have to use thier oil.Anyone have a clue?

    12FOOTER,I already installed the inline fuel pmp.The last thing I did was replace the fitting on fuel tank and cut the fuel@ end, cause of cracks in hose.I have,nt tried it since I did those.I tried it after I put in the pmp,with no change.I,ll put her in the water and see if that helps.I was...

    To 12FOOTER,I checked the compression on my 200 OMC Seadrive.#1=120lb 3=115 5=105 2=105 4=100 6=100.Does this sound like a tired engine? I still don,t know if there is a problem @bottom of pick up tube in the fuel tank.The old engine still runs good,but won,t run @top speed.What you think?<br />...

    fuel flow

    I posted a message about a problem with what I think is a fuel starvation problem.I have a 200 omc seadrive 1986 mod.The engine runs good to 3000-4000 rpm.some times the rpms will vary before the engine starts surging,&slows down.If I run it @ 3000-4000 it usually runs good.Above that speed it...
