    73 evinrude 65hp still no spark???

    I have replaced the coils, plugs, powerpack, and checked the stator, rectifier, but still can't get a spark. Fresh gas too! What am I missing? All tests say it's good to go. The strip that wires hook to above the powerpack? Is there suppose to be any hot wire there? Somehow I am completely...

    1973 evinrude 65hp won't start?

    How can you tell if the powerpack is bad? New coils, starter, solenoid. Getting gas and it turns over with good compression. There is no power going to the powerpack that I can tell.
