    I have a 83 115 . it has pistons that are not flat so guess its a crossflow from what Ive read on here. but whats the advantages and disadvantages of both designs?

    1983 115 starts but wont run???

    I just got a 90 johnson that needs a little work for free . I have a 115 evinrude and another for parts . they both look the same but what is the difference? and also what is the electrical box on the back of the 90 hp engine for ? mine does not have it
