How do I remove a broken internal eye end on my Taylor Made bimini frame? It is the nylon insert in the bottom of the aluminum pole which allows you to attach the bimini frame to the deck hinge. (I can't upload a pic because it "exceeds the 2MB limit".)
I have a 1987 16' FG Starcraft Medalist. The swim ladder was factory installed with one through bolt and nut, and three lag screws. The lag holes have become stripped out. (New larger lags lasted one season.) Two of the holes are accessable from both sides of the transom and two are not...
The stock ladder is coming off of my 1987 Starcraft Medalist 16 FG boat. It's was just lagged in. I want to drill through the hull and bolt this back on. The forward side of the transom is accessible. I'd use stainless hardware and some kind of sealant. I'm thinking maybe even rubber...
While out last week on the boat (1987 16' StarCraft Medalist), the gas gauge just quit on me --went from 3/4 of a tank to nothing in a second.
The tank is built-in. Where do I start looking?

I have an '89 Starcraft with an '89 Merc 90 outboard. On our last outing an alarm went off that was a continuous shrill "beep". It lasted 10 or 15 seconds and then stopped. I don't know if this came from the boat or the engine. What is this?
My 1989 Mercury 90hp outboard runs almost all of the time at about 120 to 140 degrees when I am cruising. However, if I slow way down and just kind of troll, the temperature raises to about 160 to 170 degrees --or just below the red line on my temperature gauge. The "red range" on my gauge...
I recently purchased a 1987 Starcraft Medalist 16' with a 90hp Mercury outboard. One gauge on the dash is disabled. The previous owner told me that it measures the amount of water coming out of the engine. He said that there is a water tube which runs from the engine to this gauge, and that...
I just purchased a cream puff 1987 16' Starcraft Medalist runabout, and I could really use an owner's manual for it. Does anyone know where I can obtain one? I'd even Xerox one and return it if one is available --and I'd pay for the privilege.
