    9.5 johnson no power in forward??

    I got a 70's model 9.5 johnson from my brother in law, his dad bought it brand new back in the day and it has ran great until it was passed down to me. It runs great in neutral and reverse but drop in forwards and it will go at a low idle until i try to get up and go?? it does try to take off...
