    Milky oil in trim/tilt resovoir

    Hi. Can anyone tell me the most likely cause of having water getting into the trim/tilt hydraulic system. Could it be through the trim cylinders seals?? The oil in the resovoir is milky. We have the system which has the plastic resovoir with the vented cap. The boat is a 4.3L Mercruiser 1990.

    We have a mercruiser 4.3L and there seems to be a strong smell of fuel when idling. All fuel lines have been checked for leaks and are OK. The plugs have been checked and have no signs of fouling due to richness. Any ideas or is this normal

    Stiff throttle

    The throttle on my mercruiser seems to be quite stiff. I have checked the routing of the cables and they are fine. I was just wondering wether it should be this way or is there something else I could check/lubricate. It is advisable to remove both the cables and try to spray lube down the sleeving?
