    15hp Evenrude 55

    Can anyone give me some tips on filling the lower unit with oil? I can never be sure that it is full enough. Kinda hard to get oil in little hole. I don't want any costly repairs due to low gear oil.

    Fuel pump

    I am installing a fuel pump on my 1955 evenrude and need to find out what I need to do with the fuel line that goes from the engine to the old three prong connector. Should I just clamp it off or take it off completely? <br /> :confused: :confused: :confused:

    still problems with 66 evinrude fastwin

    still having problems starting it....disconnect the fuel line will start..after it airs out a little. holding open the elec. choke starting goes faster. reconnect fuel bad idle then dies. try to go into full throttle it dies. i took the carb apart again, cleaned let soak, lots of grime in bottom...

    i have a 66 evinrude fastwin 18 horse power. i believe the carb is flooding. should i just beable to rebuild the carb or do i need a new one. will start up after sitting a while, but then if you kill it, it won't start again. plus it boggs down at full throttle. can i just get a rebuild kit...
