    need help 1982 50 hp mariner

    this engine ran first ,but you had to keep pushing in the elec. choke to keep it running so i overhauled carburators , new plugs , new fuel lines , it still starts upruns about 2 sec , then stops , no matter if you push the choke or not ? any one knows what i should check next ?

    need help

    on a 50hp mariner 1982 on the carbs the gaskets for the side covers or fuel pump covers ? i know where most of them go but 2 they are both the same part # but one's made out of like a brown plastic material i was just wondering if it makes a difference in what order they go in the parts...

    need help again

    bare with me, i'm new at this thread thing but i'm gettig the hang of this slowly . on my 1982 mariner 50hp on the carbs the idle mixture screw once they are all the way screwed in how many turns do i back out . or does any one know of a on line repair manual i could look at on line . thanks...

    i have a 1982 50 hp mariner american model only could run if i kept pushing in the choke , overhauled carbs , now it just starts up and stops . any thing i can try . thanks burtp...
