I have owned a single prop I/O for 12 years. New boat has 8.1 Volvo w/ dual prop. Is it normal to have about an 1/8 inch of play on the two props or should they be tight-tight? I can bump the back prop back and forth about an 1/8 of an inch without the forward prop moving?
I bought an Ebbtide 2440 w/8.1 Volvo last summer. Absolutely love the boat. Bought it with 19 hrs on it and put 60 hrs on it. Towards the end of summer it felt like there was a vibration in the back of the boat. The screws on the ladder cover on the swim platform vibrate loose. Didn't know...
