    1961 Mercury-Kiekhaefer

    I'm having trouble getting the lower unit apart on my 1961 Mercury-Kiekhaefer 6h. I'm trying to change the bearings and cannot remove the bearing carrier. I have removed the retaining ring and am now clueless as how to get the carrier out. Any help would be great. Merry Christmas.
