    What would you suggest I use to keep the outside of the motor clean. I have been using a CRC product about once a week taking the cowling off and spraying the motor down.

    I have a 2005 4 stroke 60 hp efi bigfoot. It idles at almost 1000 in gear making it difficult to dock as it is going too fast. Is there a way to lower the idle speed without going to the dealer?

    Seats

    I have a Smokercraft 19. I have been leaving it uncovered for the past week hoping for a sunny day. I noticed that when I took off the seat cushions the storage areas were filled with water. There is no drainage hole. Has anyone just drilled a hole in the plastic so the water could drain out?

    Hours on Motor

    I have a 2005 Mecury 60 hp Bigfoot that came on my used poontoon boat. The former owner could not tell me how many hours are on the motor. Is there a way to find this out? Is there a scan tool for outboard motors that can tell me this?

    Fuel filter Micron Size

    I have a 60 hp 4 stroke bigfoot motor. Former owner has a 28 micron fuel water seperator filter on it. Should I go with a smaller micron filter?
