Hello. I have a 1979 Mariner 8hp outboard with a bad impeller, I think. It overheats after a short while. I can't seem to get the lower unit off. I purchased the shop manual and followed all the directions to no avail. The lower unit drops down apx. a 1/2", but thats all. Please help...
