    WORST luck EVAR! New Raft Crack in tube...

    Nissan 4stroke 8 to 9.8hp?

    I have read a few threads about simple part swaps to boost hp on detuned motors from the factory. I notice the 8hp and 9.8hp motors weight the same. Which led me to believe that the swap can be done? It will save about $130 on a new motor, so it would have to make sense as far as parts necessary...
