    I purchased a 2002 lund rebel with a 40hp yamaha 4 stroke. The boat has a steering wheel and forward controls. According to my gps with just me in the boat it will do about 27-28, with two pple in the boat it will do 25-26 does this seem about right? I figure boat weighs about 1500 or so the way...

    trim leaking down

    2002 yamaha 40hp, hooking up a tach?

    I would like to put a tach in my boat. There is a lot of after market tachs but i am not sure if there is a certain one I need for my motor or if any outboard tach will work. Do they ussually come with good instructions for hooking them up or am I on my own? thanks
