    Alternator wiring?

    Alternator hook up Help!!

    I am trying to wire my alternator (converting from a rotor,stator setup)on my 3.7 mcm 470 series 4cyl inboard. I have a mercury marine alternator...A red wire and a greyish brown wire. I would like to know if anyone can help me by specifying where the leads need to hook up to on my motor etc...

    No wires for Alternator?

    I recently aquired a 1987 Celebrity Calais, Cuddy. I can not see any wires hanging etc for the alternator.. Can anyone help me with wiring it up...? Does the + go directly to the batterie?
