    1963 Johnson 3 hp Seahorse (2 cylinder) mix

    Sorry to bother you folks with this one. Searched everywhere & seems there was a change right around this model year. I'm looking for the mix ratio for this outboard. I did tear the thing down & replaced rings, etc about a year ago.<br />Thanks for the advice.<br />Brian

    Mid 80's Merc 4.5 outboard - no idle

    I just bought a mid 1980 merc 4.5 hp outboard. Would not start initially, Carb & choke cleaner. Now starts, runs reasonably well at anything above idle on through top end. Drop down to idle & it dies. Any suggestions? I can't seem to find any mixture screws, etc.<br />Thanks ahead of...
