    Yamaha 15 hp not spitting water.

    It is not spitting water out the pee hole, or whatever you call it. I disconnected the hose where it comes out of the motor and I get water. This makes me beleive that the impeller is ok. Is there some kind of valve that the water goes thru before it comes out of the pee hole?

    You were right, it was a stiff shift cable causing my Yamaha stern drive to stall. All i did was spray 1/2 can of wd-40 down into it and readjusted per the manual. Works great! Thanks.

    Yamaha 3.0 I/O dies when put in gear.

    I run a Yamaha 3.0 stern drive, inline 4 cylinder, 10 year owner. Most of the time when i put it in forward gear the engine will die, sometimes it dies when i put it in reverse. After starting several times (5), the engine will not die when I engage into forward and i can go. I have tried...
