I stripped the threads testing the compression on my dad's motor I'm trying to restore. I don't need to purchase a whole new assembly just that plate that the two spark plugs screw into.
Anyone have one they are willing to part with, or have any ideas?

Am I ok putting a long shaft 40 or 50 HP motor on a 17" transom? or am I stuck searching for a ss remote control electric start outboard for my 1970 Boston Whaler project?
