    15 hp powerhead ID plug damaged

    i picked up a 76 johnson 15 and it looks like somebody beat on the silver plug with the model number (on the powerhead) is that plug just for engine ID? or is it a water passage? ect? can it be replaced or will it leak? thanks.

    johnson 15 cranks, runs for 10 seconds and dies

    Johnson 70EL76

    im new to boats and have a few questions. does a Johnson 70EL76 (70hp) have power tilt and trim? would this motor be ok for a 24 foot Sun tracker pontoon for fishing and maybe pulling the kids on a tube? thanks!
