I just got a boat and the first time I tried to fire it up it started up but my dash started smoking and my wire harness was really hot. I figured it was a short so I made up a new kit and copied it exactly but when i went to fire it up my new wires did the same thing and melted the connector...
Can anyone tell me what year and what hp my old outboard is im having trouble finding any parts for it and i need a water pump badly. the model# is vx-10s and the serial# is j2414818. It sucks living in minnesota and not having a running boat!
