    are there any specs for the amount of water that should be delivered to the thermostat housing. this is an alpha 1. 4.3l v6 engine. like so many gallons per minute at a certain rpm? if not subjectively how much water flow should be expected? thanks

    Temperature issues Help please Mercruiser

    I have a 1989 searay with a 4.3 liter mercruiser. When I first start the boat from cold the temp guage will rise accordingly to the 190 degree thermostat setting. Once underway the temp guage will drop to a minimum reading and stay there. Once I get back to idle the temperature will rise way...
