    got my 1977 evinrude started.

    thanks for the replies to my other post. I got it to start and run.but it seems to die out in full throtal.any other suggestions?? :confused:

    my 1977 6hp eninrude won't start

    I have a 1977 evinrude 6hp motor model #6705m. I've had this for 3 years now.It recently will not start.I replaced the spark plugs.They spark but still not even a cough from my motor.any suggestion on what may be wronge before I bring it to a tech???
