    SBC 228 Engine

    Gentlemen, I am new to the forums so pardon the question(s). Is the 228 just a small block chevrolet 305 cid with perhaps a different rotation? Are the parts for this engine the same for an automotive 305cid? Gaskets, Pistons etc? Thanks
