    dt55 pilot jets

    I'm cleaning the carbs, and can't get a small peice of wire through the pilot jet. Is the jet have a hole straight through, or is there a restriction in the jet?? thanks bob 1986 Suzuki dt55 :confused:

    86 dt55 won't idle

    I've replaced fuel filter, rebuilt fuel pump and a half azz cleaning of the carbs ( did not soak them). will start idle ruff, will die when given any gas, but if I do get it pass low RPMs, it run fine in the mid to high RPM range. Any help would be great, I'm getting a late start to the...

    dt 55 gauge question

    Pick up a dt 55 ( 1986 ) and had it out on the water for the frist time yesterday ( son-in-law did ). He said the gauge flashed red at him ( can't be good ) . I haven't received my manual yet, so can someone tell me how to read the gauge. it's the single gauge with 3 to4 green bars...

    battery cable size

    Would anyone know what size battery cable a dt55 suzuki uses? The ones on the motor are to short to reach the battery box and are a old set of jumper cables. I was planning on using 1/0 cable. thanks as always bob

    Hi guys new here on iboat and getting back into boating. my old johnson died and I picked up a Suzuki DT 55 oil injected. My question is can I use the tanks from the johnson and just change the fitting at the motor? Also can I connect two tanks together with a "TEE"...
