have a 78 johnson seahorse 3cyl.-70Hp-
when i throttled today it took a bit to get up to full speed then after slowing down and re-throttling it wouldnt get up to full speed it was like i was only half speed at full throttle.Any ideas what i should be looking at?
is there a alternator on my motor to charge the battery? I have a 1978 johnson 70 hp seahorse 3 cylinder
reason is i took the boat out and the battery had no charge to turn over the motor and we had to boost it--this wasnt a problem last time i took it out
my canvas boat top has a plastic window that was shot out by the previous owner with his pressure washer--he gave me a roll of plastic to fix it--
whats the best way to do this-is there a special needle and thread to use?-it looks like the original was melted into the canvas somehow
have a 30 lbs thrust minn kota endura 30" shaft on a 16' fiberglass vangaurd-transom mount-
is this sufficient for size of boat?
should i get a second battery to run this?-i have a 70 horse elec. start johnson
i just bought my first boat--its a vangaurd--
i need to find out what year it is-the model is a Marlin
it is 16' fiberglass-open bow (off centered) with 2 stern seats-bow cover-and top
any help would be nice
