Currently I have the Mercury 3000 Classic control on my boat and it sucks!!! It is constantly sticking in throttle only and will not allow me to shift gears unless I take out the shift box and slide the POS square pin back enough to allow it to release. Tired of jacking with it and I would like...
I bought a boat and the neutral switch is getting stuck in neutral. I took it apart a couple of times and what is happening is the square key in the mechanism is sliding to one side and not allowing the pin to pop back out. So if the pin is not popped out it will not go into forward or reverse...
