    First trip out on the boat

    Just finished fixing up my 73 reinell with a 302Mercruiser. Took it out and had a blast.:D Trim tabs seemed to be reallllly slloow or I guess busted. Steering was kinda ok...I think I need one of those spinning knobs.. The big problem I didnt see was the alt. waterpump belt doesnt line...

    replaced impeller now shifter is stuck

    OK, I disconnected the shifter and pushed it in to forward position and now I cant move it to adjust it. It did seem to move easy before I replaced the impeller. Please tell me there is a trick or something and I don't have to replace the cable.
