    98 gtx rfi misfire

    Machine misfires between 4800-5000 rpm, its regular about every 5 seconds but runs fine at all other rpms. I just thought I would throw it in here and see if anyone could suggest possible causes. machine runs great otherwise.

    motor compatibility

    Are the powerheads interchangeable between an 88 evinrude 140 and an 83 johnson 140? the evinrude is a 25" the johnson a 20" if this makes a difference.

    Lifting an outboard

    I have a 1988 evinrude 140 v4. What is the right way to lift this motor, I have a 1 ton shop crane. There seems to be a lot of general info but nothing specific about where to attach clamps or whatever.
