    1983 Johnson 9.9 Sailmaster No Spark on 1

    Recently found an old 9.9, compression good but no spark on one cylinder. Switched coils, lack of spark followed. Unhooked kill switch, still no fire. Is it safe to assume the coil is toast? Thanks!

    I have a prop I'm having trouble identifying. It is about 7 1/2" diameter, has a 1/2" bore with a 1 1/4" shear pin slot. Any clues as to its application?     No spark on Suzuki

    Garage sale special Suzuki 2 horse, serial #908416. Year unknown. Has no spark, but I used a multimeter on the plug lead and get a couple volts (and a lotta amps) when I crank it. Bad coil? Thanks for any ideas.

    '89 Force 125 H.P. too hot at idle

    You can't judge an impeller by looks alone. If it's the original one :eek: you must replace it. The vanes take a set and lose efficiency. They should be replaced every 2 years, or more often if you do a lot of boating.

    I have a tachometer that has 4,6,8 cylinder settings as well as 12 pole outboard. I have a Yamaha with a 6 pole output. Can I modify the input signal to read correctly with this gauge? Thanks!

    Shooting Seals

    OK, so I didn't shoot 'em, but the seal(s) on the port side trim cylinder on my 1991 Yammy 90 is leaking. Trims & tilts until the fluid all leaks out. I can borrow the spanner to remove the cap, but what's underneath? Scraper, seal, o-rings? Schematic, got an image for me? :D
