    RD 18 gearcase seal kit

    I have purchased a gearcase seal kit for my 1956 30Hp Big twin and both oil seals are not nearly as 'robust' as the originals. The seal lips are a lot thinner and narrower, my question is are better seals available somewhere? Many thanks.

    Air silencer filter question

    My 56' RD18 30 hp has a badly deteriorated air filter in the silencer housing made of some kind of fiberglass insulation material. Anyone see an issue with just getting rid of it, or should I try to find a foam replacement from another aplication. Thanks
