    Confused 115 in a 90?

    I bought a boat today and the outside of the engine says it is a 90hp but the serial number says 115 hp. The guy said it was a 115 hp engine. The serial number on the powerhead is 4313852. Can you put a 115 in a 90?

    9.8 mercury in garage for 20 years
