    In-line fuel filter Volvo penta 430 1991

    I just found out this engine has an in-line fuel filter that has not been changed in years.I am having trouble loosening the small nut on the fuel line from the housing holding the filter.I am using 2 wrenches but the smaller nut on the line wont budge and I dont want to break anything.Any ideas...

    I am having a problem with what year my engine is I am thinking 91 or 92 because all the original hoses have a 1992 stamped on them.My owners card states engine type 430B serial # 4100139135 any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

    Volvo-Penta tilt gauge

    Hello friends:The first time out this year I seem to be having trouble with my drive trim indicator.Whether I have the drive right up or down the indicator reads 10 right-up should be 40 right down -9 what could be causing this situation? Thanks Star

    No WOT

    water/fuel separator

    Could someone please explain what this is?Is it the same as a fuel filter? This is the first time after winterizing that I have noticed this item on the invoice the previous years it has been fuel filter.Just confused is all.BTW 1991 Volvo-Penta 4.3 AQ 430.Thanks.

    oil filter question

    Just got my boat back from marina, winterizing done as well as some other repairs.I noticed the oil filter they used this time is a Fram .I thought they were only used in cars not for marine application.Could this be a problem? Thanks.

    water in bilge.

    propeller direction question.

    The propeller setup on my 90 4.3 Volvo-Penta is counter clockwise rotation but can easily be changed to clockwise rotation.Is there any advantages to having it clockwise as opposed to counter clockwise?

    Question about hour gauge on 90 Volvo-Penta

    Is it common for the hour gauge to show in the bottom right hand corner 1/10 what is this?Could this mean if my hour gauge reads 1289 it is actually only 1/10th of that?Just curious.

    VHF radio. Canadian boaters.

    I just got to wondering after 2 years of owning my 19 ft. cuddy if I require a licence to operate the radio , or even have it in the boat.I was "pulled over" by Canadian coast guard (safety check) and passed and it never came up.Just wonderin is all??

    Boat hull weight question.

    My owners manual for my 19 ft cuddy claims the "hull weight" to be 1568 lbs.My question is when the manufacturer states the weight in the manual do they include the engine in that weight or is that separate.P.S the engine is a Volvo-Penat 4.3.Thanks

    Trailer wheel balancing
