    how different were the sport twin 9.5's?

    The model # plate is missing on this motor. The serial # on the freeze plug does not cross reference. With that as a known, how different were the carbs on the various model years for this motor? Can the carb be identified? Did e-rude use the same carb throughout the series?

    6hp Johnson, runs good only with cowling off

    Motor (in tank) idles forever, runs forever in gear at low speeds. As soon as I open throttle to WOT it does fine for 10-60 seconds then starts bogging. I take the cowling off and there are no problems.... What up with this????
