    mercury what year please

    hi can you tell me the year of my mercury outboard it says og990068 on a silver disc on engine it is a 2 cylinder it has a decal on the side saying 7.5 but i have been told a 7.5 is a 1 cylinder they think it`s a 25 + hp it is a 2 stroke this one has def got two cylinders ????????????:eek::facepalm:
