    Hello, I have a 1990 Alumacraft trophy 190 with a 1990 merc 115 (2 stroke) with a 19 pitch prop (48.77346 A40L) which I assume is stock.     1990 merc 115 lower unit

    I am about to replace the water pump impeller on my 1990 merc 115, I am just looking for information on how to disconnect the shift rod (it seems to be a spline) does it just slide apart? Any other tips/tricks to doing this? serial # OC275276 Thanks in advance Rusty
