    foward gear question

    I was wondering if the prop should stop spinning when in foward gear. I can stop it with my foot, low rpms ofcourse but when its in reverse it doesn't stop on my foot. Or is my shifter not going in gear enough for foward gear. Can't make it to the river this weekend thanks for the help. ,
