    1976 johnson 2 ho carb rebuild

    been awhile since ive been here! Anywho, i am working on a johnson 2 hp carb.....1976 i believe......when i removed the adjustible high and low speed jets, the blunt tipped needle was in the top hole, and the pointy tapered needle was in the bottom hole, are these the correct locations? Thanks

    jw-10 recoil spring

    sold a jw 10 last summer, now its back with what would appear to be a broken recoil spring. ( havent taken the starter apart yet) . hopefully its just and end broke off and i can bend a new curl and be done with it. if it gets more involved, anyone know what current part # is the replacement...

    anyone have a good idea of how to guesstimate hp of a small engine using displacement ? online info suggests 15-18 cc for 1 hp. this works out great for a car engine but not well for a lawnmower etc. i calculate it to be about 35 cc's per hp. if my 35cc number is correct, would it work out...
