    OK, I finely got my 75hp force (its a 1996) it runs good I have installed two different Tachometers and both drop out or off and then just start working. I did notice that during this faze the voltage would fluctuate (say from 13v to 16v up-down) and it appeared when the tachometer came back...

    1988 50hp Force, worm-up

    I have a 1988 50hp Force and it runs great! Except at worm-up, stars good with a little choke but it takes about two or three minutes and it kinda sputters and takes off. RPM's go up and will start and run just fine the rest of the day. If I stay the night it will also start up and go just fine...

    What is the difference between the 75hp and 70hp Force motors built in the 90s

    Hi, I am going to upgrade my 1988 50hp force and am looking at a 1995 70hp force. What makes the 1995 a 70hp, compared to the 75hp 1996 and up? I see that the engine displacement is the same as well as the bore stroke. Also does anyone know how well or if the mounting bracket will line up...
